Work Schedule: Days/Evenings

Work Type: FULL TIME

Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday - Sunday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Must obtain and maintain BLS.

Demonstrates computer literacy, accurate and timely charting via Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Careworks clinicians diagnose, treat and write prescriptions (when clinically appropriate) for common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services. Services at some clinics also include x-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy. Careworks clinics treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, helping patients avoid unnecessary emergency room visits.

EDUCATION:

The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners, be eligible for or hold current national certification that allows NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position(adults and children one year and older). Must be eligible for licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.Six months of primary care experience is required.
