OSF Medical Group, Peoria seeks residency trained, board certified physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics combined to work as float providers at the Medical Groups primary care practice sites. A newly trained physician will also be considered with the stipulation that board certifications must be achieved within a few years for continued employment.
Float physicians would fill in for primary care providers during instances of vacation, medical leave or other short term staffing situations. A float physician would be caring for patient of age corresponding to training and board certification.
Part time and full time positions are available.
Enjoy practicing alongside a group of respected family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric and dual boarded certified internal medicine/ pediatric physicians at any of the Peoria area sites including the cities of Peoria, Morton, Hopedale, Chillicothe, Sheffield, Roanoke, Metamora, Roanoke, and Washington. The position involves work Monday through Friday with no requirement for evening, weekend, holiday, call or inpatient work.
This position includes a base salary commensurate with experience. Float physicians are also eligible for a performance based bonus determined at an annual performance evaluation.
