HOSPITALIST FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY

The DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOLOGY at OCHSNER MEDICAL CENTER IN NEW ORLEANS is recruiting a HOSPITALIST to become a key member of our dedicated INPATIENT CARDIOLOGY TEAM.  

The schedule is alternating week on followed by a week off.  This experience provides our Hospitalists with exposure to caring for cardiac inpatients working directly with Cardiology Staff physicians and Fellows.  This Hospitalist position is attractive to individuals who are interested in pursuing Cardiology Fellowship training and those who wish to develop and demonstrate their clinical acumen for cardiology.  There is sufficient time to take advantage of observing cardiac cath, echo and other imaging laboratories.  Faculty mentors are available to support clinical research projects.
