Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider
(Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)

Riverside Medical Group in Newport News and Hampton, Virginia is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide patient care in our busy Orthopedics Practice. The APP works in collaboration with the practice physicians and is responsible for health care of patients, including but not limited to: comprehensive assessment of health problems, development of a plan of care including diagnostic testing and test evaluation and follow-up care. Care to include recommendations for chronic care management and promotion of health and healthy lifestyle. Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based medicine recommendations of quality care, and disease prevention and coding. Demonstrates growth and development knowledge to meet the needs of the ages of patients served.

At Riverside Orthopedic Specialists, our providers hold a vast amount of training and expertise in orthopedic treatment, and specialize in sports medicine, total joint replacement, arthroscopic and minimally invasive procedures, trauma-related injuries and cartilage restoration procedures.

Education: Credentialed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in good standing

Licensure/Certification: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
in the state of Virginia (or can be obtained)
