Join an established and growing team of seven physicians and three nurse practitioners
Shift-based, Block Schedule of 7on/7off, and a closed ICU.
This position includes a base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus incentives. Benefits include paid occurrence-based malpractice, yearly CME stipend, association membership dues, holidays, and 2 weeks paid vacation plus 5 days off for CME. An Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or IM/PED trained physician, with quality medical training, who has completed board certification, is desired. A newly trained physician will be considered with the stipulation that board certification must be achieved within a year for continued employment.
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center includes a medical staff of over 300 physicians, 157 licensed beds, and a 32 bed Comprehensive Care Center using a universal approach with patients. This Level II trauma center provides medical, surgical, obstetric, intensive care and post-intensive care units; a full range of cardiovascular, neuroscience and orthopedic services; and a skilled nursing facility for those patients in need of transition from acute care to home or a nursing home. OSF St Joseph is a referral center for many surrounding community hospitals, and has a wide range of specialty services at our Bloomington campus and is part of an 11 hospital health care system.
