Outstanding clinical opportunity for BE/BC maternal fetal medicine physician to join a growing perinatal subspecialty practice.
Join three other board certified maternal-fetal subspecialists committed to providing high quality, compassionate, evidence-based, and cost-sensitive perinatal care to families of the Illinois North Central Perinatal Region. We emphasize communication, collaboration, education, and consultation.
We are supported by two APNs, ARDMS certified sonographers working in an AIUM certified unit, two diabetes educators, and a perinatal nutritionist. Genetic counselors and a Pediatric Geneticist from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics are available for consultation.
The MFM physicians are highly regarded in the community and have a collaborative and collegial working relationship with local and regional referring physicians.
Saint Francis Medical Center is currently transitioning to a laborist model with plans for the laborist to cover the deliveries of the MFM patient population
The North Central Perinatal Network is composed of 28 hospitals and 25 local county health departments in Central Illinois.
The maternal-fetal medicine service at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL, provides comprehensive consultation and management services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies. Collaborating with adult neonatal and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, our group seeks to optimize the potential of every pregnancy.

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is licensed for 616 beds and with a medical staff of more than 800 physicians, is the fourth largest medical center in the state of Illinois and serves 17 counties. A full complement of adult medical and surgical subspecialists is available to collaborate in the management of pregnant women with complex medical and surgical conditions.
The Childrens Hospital of Illinois is the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and is a 132-bed facility that offers over 50 pediatric programs and services. These programs represent over 100 pediatric sub-specialists in 24 different disciplines, including the largest pediatric surgery program in Illinois. CHOI is the only full service tertiary hospital for children in downstate Illinois. It is a designated Level I Trauma Center, and a Pediatric Critical Care Center, as well as having a Regional Perinatal center, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. There is a highly-regarded Pediatric Cardiothoracic surgery program with two Pediatric CT surgeons.
The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria is one of four campuses that make up the nations largest public medical school. UICOMP supports a thriving education program with more than 270 MDs and DOs in 18 residency and fellowship programs including a fully accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency with 12 residents. The Department of Pediatrics has 72 faculty members covering most pediatric subspecialties and primary care.
The Jump Trading Simulation and Education Center, a partnership of OSF HealthCare and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, provides unique opportunities for simulation training and learning.
