Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) Seeks an Infectious Disease physician to join the Southern Illinois Healthcare Medical Group.


-Moving expenses
-Sign on bonus
-Physician focused administration
-27 days paid vacation
-5 days CME with $2,000 allowance
-Exceptional salary
-5 half days in clinic, the other time rounding at the hospitals
-Call 1:2
-Weekend call 1 weekend every 3 weeks
-Looking for a candidate who is willing to manage care of patients with HIV and HepC
-We have an active Health Department for HIV referrals and community care
-2 wound centers
-Balanced payor mix
-Antibiotic-Stewardship Program

Purchased in 1995 from the ASC Health System, St. Joseph is the only Catholic facility in the Southern Illinois Healthcare family. A 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Murphysboro, St. Joseph offers
9,800 ED encounters annually; Prairie STAT Heart activated hospital for rapid transfer of STEMI patients
Accredited sleep center with locations at the hospital and in Marion
Outpatient geriatric psych program
All-digital imaging and archiving with CT, MRI, bone density testing and ACR-certified ultrasound services
Certified cardio-pulmonary outpatient rehabilitation
