Traditional Family Practice in Abilene, TX

Hendrick Medical Center currently has three Family Medicine Opportunities available. Hendrick Health System in Abilene, Texas serves as the hub for healthcare services in the Texas Midwest. Founded in 1924, it is now licensed for 522 beds and at capacity fills about 340 of those. Hendrick Health System offers a broad spectrum of services ranging from prenatal and birthing services to retirement living and hospice care. You will find most medical and surgical specialists on staff to assist in the care of your patients. From 2008 to 2012 Hendrick Medical Center enlarged its facilities with a 90 million dollar expansion. We have another 90 million dollar project in the works. Practice Details Employed (HPN) or Solo Opportunity
This is a Traditional Practice opportunity - Inpatient and Outpatient

1. Abilene, TX Employed or Solo Opportunity
2. Brownwood, TX Employed Opportunity
3. Cisco, TX Employed Opportunity -- Free standing, newly renovated office. OP only or OP/IP option.

Employed Opportunity
Call will be 1 in 5.
Hospitalists cover all unreferred ER call.
Call begins after 5pm and on weekends.
The practice sees mainly adults with some pediatric patients.
Basic lab testing (Flu, Strep Analyzer) is done on-site. Immunizations for children are also done on-site.
Procedures such as biopsies, toe nails, IUDs, cyst removals are performed at the office.

Compensation

Compensation Package for Abilene, Brownwood and Cisco, TX
Attractive 18 month income guarantee ($230,337 for the first year!)
Sign-on bonus (up to $25K)
Relocation assistance (up to $15K)
Marketing
Monthly residency stipend of $2K/month for up to 24 months until the completion of the residency program
Full Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, Retirement with 3% match, 30 days of Vacation, 18 weeks of sick leave, etc.)
TX License Fee Assistance (up to $2K)
