VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS) is recruiting a board certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist for full-time position in a newly constructed community based outpatient clinic within the Portland metro area in Fairview, Oregon. The clinic will offer primary care and mental health services. The psychiatrist will carry a caseload and provide mental health treatment and consultation to other mental health professionals and primary care clinicians. Experience with or interest in addictions and/or geriatric psychiatry is desirable.

The physician is an integral part of patient care, teaching and research activities, which are shared with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU); as such, the candidate must be eligible for a faculty appointment at OHSU. The psychiatrist may supervise trainees, engage in leadership activities or develop outpatient medical services.
