Norton Orthopaedic Care is recruiting surgeons to build a new adult orthopaedic practice on Norton Healthcares
St. Matthews campus Norton Womens and Kosair Childrens Hospital with a focus on sports health, womens care, foot and ankle orthopaedics, trauma and general orthopaedic care. Orthopaedic emergency cases on this campus totaled 5,026 in 2012 and 2,113 from January to June 2013.

The practice will be supported with:
Digital X-ray equipment
Dedicated casting room
Electronic medical records system
7,500-square-foot expansion in 2014
Research opportunities
Access to orthopaedic and sports health symposiums
Hands-on involvement in Norton Sports Healthsponsored
community events, including Ironman
Louisville, Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and
miniMarthon and Bike to Beat Cancer

Norton Orthopaedic Care is composed of nearly 40 surgeons practicing a wide range of specialties and subspecialties. These specialists practice a team approach to the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of orthopaedic conditions. Our board-eligible and board-certified physicians and surgeons, many of whom are fellowship trained, work together with nurses, therapists, physiatrists and other health care providers to offer advanced, comprehensive orthopaedic

Job requisites:
Graduate of an accredited medical school and fellowship
training program
Eligible to obtain a Kentucky medical license
Prefer foot, ankle and trauma focus; sports health will be
considered as well
Participation in group call and system call coverage
