Vascular Surgeon Opportunity
Norton Vascular Associates in Louisville, Kentucky is currently recruiting additional vascular surgeons to join their practice. In existence for over 25 years, this well established group is part of Norton Medical Group, the employed physician practice division of Norton Healthcare, a regional leader in patient care with a built-in referral base of nearly 700 primary, specialty and urgent care physicians. Norton Healthcare has dedicated resources and expanded its vascular program to 5 fellowship trained vascular sugreons and 3 mid-level providers. Two years ago the primary office expanded to a new 5,500 square foot location on the Norton Audubon Hospital campus, and updated the vascualr surgical suites. The fellowship trained, board-certified vascular surgeons of Norton Vascular Associates have more than six decades of combined experience in providing vascular care, conducting clinical research in endovascular surgery and serving in various education and leadership roles.

Norton Audubon Hospital is a premier hospital for cardiovascular services in Louisville. The 432 bed facility is home to over 15 cardiologists, 5 cardiac surgeons, over 20 primary care physicians, as well as many other referral sources. In 2012, Norton Audubon Hospital opened a brand new hybrid surgical suite with state-of-the art equipment and a dedicated surgical team for vascular surgeries. All physicians have dedicated support and blocked OR time.

About the position
The physician is responsible for obtaining and legibly recording a detailed medical history of each patient, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.

Requirements for this position
Medical degree/diploma
Residency/fellowship certification
Kentucky and/or Indiana medical license (or license eligible)
