New Critical Care Positions - St. Mary's Hospital

We have an outstanding opportunity for five Critical Care Intensivists to join Dean Clinic which is based in Madison, WI, and one of the largest multi-specialty, integrated healthcare delivery systems in the country, with more than 775 medical staff members. Our Critical Care specialists will be based at St. Marys Hospital and will be part of a new initiative with the creation of our Critical Care Medicine Division. Our group utilizes an 7 on 7off schedule. Shifts are 12 hours in duration and will be from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. St. Marys is an acute-care hospital licensed for 440 beds and offers full scope of medical and surgical specialty areas - except transplants The Dean & St. Mary's Cardiac Center includes a 37-bed nursing unit that offers 24-hour telemetry monitoring, 12-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit and a 10-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Dean also provides tertiary care services across an 18 county region through our extensive regional clinic system. Dean Health Plan provides health care coverage for over 230,000 covered lives across our service area. Also for the fifth time in six years, Dean Health Plan ranks highest in member satisfaction with health plans in the Minnesota-Wisconsin region according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2014 Survey. SSM Health Care, parent organization of St. Mary's, in May 2003 became the first health care organization in the country to be named a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winner. The award is the top honor a U.S. company can receive for quality management and quality achievement. St. Mary's Hospital is also the only hospital in the region to earn the prestigious Magnet Recognition for Excellence in Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Association.

The Hospital

St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center has been serving Madison and South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds and is generally the hospital to which the Dean Clinic Physicians admit. St. Mary's is very supportive of the Dean Clinic physicians and works in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.

Clinical programs of special interest include the Dean/St. Mary's Cardiac Center, Family Birth Center (including obstetrics, high risk pregnancy, and neonatal intensive care), Neuroscience Center, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Renal Services, and Emergency Services.
