Duke Urgent Care is currently seeking an distinguished, experienced, full time Urgent Care Physician.

Duke Medicine conceptually integrates the Duke University Health System, the Duke University School of Medicine, and the Duke University School of Nursing. It is the combination of research, clinical care, and education that takes place through the efforts of our faculty, staff, students, and trainees at many different sites throughout our region and worldwide.

Our Urgent Care Physician works in collaboration of his/her assigned care team in providing quality primary care services to patients in accordance with accepted standards of medical practice. Physicians are expected to adhere to health center productivity standards, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and work toward achieving clinical quality goals.

Our ideal candidate must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice with a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience, preferably in Urgent Care, and must be qualified to treat a spectrum of illnesses and injuries for pediatric and adult patients. You must be driven to provide the best customer service with a focused desire to improve the healthcare experience for every patient, every time. Excellent communication and patient relation skills are required. Experience with electronic medical records and the ability to work within an environment of continual but logical change are required.

Located throughout the Raleigh/Durham area Duke Urgent Care Centers are open 365 days a year, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Physicians at Duke Urgent Care have the following qualifications and skills:
2+ years of experience covering the full spectrum of care found in an Urgent Care setting (Attestation)
Board Certified by American Board of Emergency Medicine or Completed Residency in Specialty
ACLS Certified**
PALS Certified**
**For MD's board certified in Emergency Medicine - In lieu of ACLS and PALS/APLS, the most current LLSA and/or ConCert completion certificate is required; one of either must have been completed within the most recent 12-month period.

**For DO's board certified in Emergency Medicine - In lieu of ACLS and PALS/APLS for physicians currently board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, the most current COLA completion certificate which must have been completed within the most recent 12-month period is required.
