Mission Neurology is actively seeking a board certified/board eligible Neurohospitalist to join us in Asheville, NC!
At present, the neurohospitalist team consists of 4 full-time BC neurologists with 5 full-time BC neurologists in the outpatient clinic. Our Neurosciences Program also includes 3 neuro-interventional radiologists, 8 neurosurgeons, a specialized neurological intensive care unit with multi-modality interventional capabilities. It is our goal to grow Mission Neurosciences into a center of excellence providing neurological care in all areas.

Mission Hospital is certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Specialty trained in neurovascular and stroke care, the team provides tPA and acute stroke interventions to more than 100 patients per year; provides telestroke coverage for area hospitals; and, enrolls in several stroke trials. The team also provides comprehensive neurological care for a broad number of other patients with non-vascular neurological disease.
Our inpatient service is part of Mission Hospitals Neurosciences Center of Excellence which includes a 14-bed Neuro-Trauma ICU and a 34-bed, dedicated Neurosciences Unit/Stroke Center. Mission Neurology Associates offers a neurological intensive care unit with multi-modality interventional capabilities. In addition to our neurology team, other specialists providing care at the center include neuro-interventional radiologists and neurosurgeons. The center is part of Mission Hospital, a 750-bed tertiary referral center serving Western North Carolina.
