St. Johns Hospital is searching for a Critical Care Physician to join an established Intensivist Program at this 438 bed, Level I Trauma Center in Springfield, Illinois. The Intensivists will enjoy a 7 day on/7 day off schedule & 12 hour shifts. The newly renovated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) features 24 beds with 12 being state-of-the-art patient rooms with more space for nursing staff to perform procedures in the rooms. Intensivists have the support of an established Hospitalist Program of 15 Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians and over 600 physicians representing over 30 specialties and sub-specialties. St. John's Hospital also serves as a teaching hospital for Southern Illinois University School of Medicine residents and medical students.
