Physician RURAL Family Medicine w/OB - Private Practice

Practice size is currently two FM-OB physicians and two FM physician assistants. One physician retiring summer 2018.

Seeking to add a BC Family Medicine/OB-Gyn physician to join busy growing practice in a small college town. Well established practice that has been in the community for decades. Recognized Patient Centered Primary Care Home Tier 3 status with Meaningful Use achievement.

Full time position, employed position, 4 days a week. See approximately 20 patients a day. No weekend hours (possibility of Saturday AM clinic sometime in the future). Full-spectrum family medicine with office procedures including casting, splinting, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, etc.

NextGen EPM/EHR

Admit OB & peds patients. No adult admits. Call 1 night/week; 1 weekend/month. Light call 2-4 per night zero calls/night. Weekends: approx. 3-5/day.

Patient demographics birth to elderly, balanced mix of insurance plans

Ability to speak Spanish would be nice, but not necessary. Will consider physicians on visas.

Rural practice perks - $5,000 income tax credit from the state
