CareerMD.com - Employers

Each year, CareerMD hosts a Career Fair in St. Louis. The first annual fair took place in 2005 and attracted residents and fellows from local teaching hospitals like St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Forest Park Hospital, St. Louis School of Medicine, Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and many others. CareerMD also invites programs throughout the state of Missouri. In 2007 the St. Louis Career Fair attracted more than 100 job-seeking residents and fellows.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the St. Louis Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the St. Louis area can be found here.

Past Exhibitors

CareerMD Career Fairs are an integral part of the recruiting strategies of hundreds of employers.  Past exhibitors in St. Louis have included hospitals and healthcare systems from all over the country.  A representative list of employers who have exhibited at this fair can be found here.

CareerMD has hosted three highly attended Career Fairs in St. Louis:

  1. November 14, 2007: 161 attendees
  2. July 11, 2006: 150 attendees
  3. September 7, 2005: 107 attendees
