Each year, CareerMD hosts a career-planning and networking reception in Salt Lake City, for residents, fellows, and those training to become PAs, advanced practice nurses and RNs from Brigham Young University College of Nursing, McKay-Dee Hospital Center, St. Mark's Healthcare Foundation, University of Utah College of Nursing, University of Utah School of Medicine, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Westminster College School of Nursing.

CareerMD Receptions follow a more intimate format than that of the CareerMD Career Fairs. Space is limited, which provides employers with an opportunity for one-on-one discussions with trainees. Each employer will be seated at a designated station to facilitate comfortable discussions with residents, fellows, PAs, advanced practice nurses, and/or RNs.

Employers who register to participate may send two representatives. Neither booths nor tabletop displays are permitted, however handouts and giveaways are acceptable.

Reception Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Salt Lake City Reception to training programs in Utah, which are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents, fellows, PAs, advanced practice nurses and RNs who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted.
