CareerMD Reception

Each year, CareerMD plans to host a career-planning and networking reception in Phoenix for residents, fellows, PAs, advanced practice nurses and RNs. Trainees from Arizona School of Health Sciences, Arizona State University, Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, Baptist Hospital, Grand Canyon University, Maricopa Medical Center, Midwestern University, Northern Arizona University, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Scottsdale Healthcare, St. Joseph's Hospital and University of Arizona College of Nursing are all invited to attend.

CareerMD Receptions follow a more intimate format than that of the CareerMD Career Fairs. Space is limited, which provides employers with an opportunity for one-on-one discussions with trainees. Each employer will be seated at a designated station to facilitate comfortable discussions with residents, fellows, PAs, advanced practice nurses, and/or RNs.

Employers who register to participate may send two representatives. Neither booths nor tabletop displays are permitted, however handouts and giveaways are acceptable.

Reception Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Phoenix Reception to training programs in Arizona, which are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents, fellows, PAs, advanced practice nurses and RNs who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted.
