Each year, CareerMD hosts a Career Fair in Philadelphia, PA. The first annual fair took place in 2006 and attracted residents and fellows from top teaching hospitals, including the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Cooper University Hospital and many others. The Philadelphia Career Fair has grown in popularity and attendance over the past two years. In January 2007, the Philadelphia Career Fair attracted over 250 job-seeking residents and fellows.
Career Fair Promotion
CareerMD promotes the Philadelphia Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Philadelphia area can be found here.
