Each year, CareerMD hosts a Career Fair in New York City . The first annual fair took place in 2005 and attracted residents and fellows from top teaching hospitals such as Beth Israel Medical Center, Harlem Hospital Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, Lenox Hill Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Mount Sinai School Of Medicine, and many others in New York City and beyond. In 2008, more than 550 job-seeking residents and fellows attended this fair.
Career Fair Promotion
CareerMD promotes the New York City Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at a local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the New York area can be found here.
