CareerMD.com - Employers

Each year, CareerMD hosts the New Haven Career Fair. The first annual fair took place in 2008 and attracted residents and fellows from top teaching hospitals including Yale-New Haven Hospital, University of Connecticut School of Medicine, St Vincent's Medical Center, Danbury Hospital, Griffin Hospital and many others. Additionally, residents from other major teaching hospitals in the area are invited to attend, including those in training in other tri-state area teaching hospitals. In 2008, the New Haven Career Fair attracted 128 job-seeking residents and fellows.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the New Haven Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the New Haven area can be found here.
