Each year, CareerMD hosts a Career Fair in Newark, NJ. The first annual fair took place in 2008 and attracted residents and fellows from local teaching hospitals including Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Bergen Regional Medical Center, Seton Hall University of Graduate Medical Education, St. Barnabas Medical Center, and many others. CareerMD also hosts other Career Fairs in the Northeast, including fairs in Boston, New Haven and New York City.
Career Fair Promotion
CareerMD promotes the Newark Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Newark area can be found here.
