CareerMD.com - Employers

Each year, CareerMD hosts the Los Angeles Career Fair. The first annual fair took place in 2005 and attracted residents and fellows from local teaching hospitals such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, House Ear Clinic, Orthopaedic Hospital, USC School of Medicine, and from programs across the southern California. In 2008, this fair attracted more than 250 job-seeking residents and fellows.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Los Angeles Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at a local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Los Angeles area can be found here.

  1. September 8, 2008: attended by 259 job-seeking residents and fellows
  2. September 20, 2007: attended by 351 job-seeking residents and fellows
  3. June 7, 2006: attended by 102 job-seeking residents and fellows
  4. September 21, 2005: attended by 209 job-seeking residents and fellows
