CareerMD will host a career-planning and networking reception in San Diego, CA on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Residents and fellows from the University of California at San Diego and other teaching hospitals in the area are invited to attend.

CareerMD Receptions follow a more intimate format than that of the CareerMD Career Fairs. Space is limited, which provides employers with an opportunity for one-on-one discussions with trainees. Each employer is seated at a designated station to facilitate comfortable discussions with trainees.

Employers who register to participate may send two representatives. Neither booths nor tabletop displays are permitted, however handouts and giveaways are acceptable.

Reception Promotion

CareerMD promotes the San Diego Reception to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the San Diego area can be found here.
