CareerMD.com - Employers

Each year, CareerMD hosts the Kansas City Career Fair. The first annual fair took place in 2008 and attracted residents and fellows training at local teaching hospitals including University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University of Kansas School of Medicine, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, and other teaching hospitals throughout the states of Kansas and Missouri. CareerMD also hosts other Career Fairs in region, include one in St. Louis.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Kansas City Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Kansas City area can be found here.

Past Exhibitors

CareerMD Career Fairs are an integral part of the recruiting strategies of hundreds of employers. Past exhibitors in the South have included hospitals and healthcare systems from all over the country. A representative list of employers who have exhibited at this fair can be found here.

Hotel Reservations: CareerMD has arranged a group rate of $159/night on the nights of Sunday, July 19, 2009 and Monday, July 20, 2009. Call (816) 421-1234 for reservations and ask for the CareerMD rate. Please note that reservations must be made by June 29, 2009 to qualify for the group rate.
