Each year, CareerMD hosts a Career Fair in Houston, TX. The first annual fair took place in 2006 and attracted residents and fellows from top teaching hospitals, including Baylor College of Medicine, Memorial Hermann Hospital System, Methodist Hospital, Texas Heart Institute, Tulane University School Of Medicine, University of Texas Science Center at Houston, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and many others. The Houston Career Fair has grown in popularity and attendance over the past two years. In 2009, the Houston Career Fair attracted over 250 job-seeking resident and fellows.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Houston Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Houston area can be found here.
