CareerMD.com - Employers

Each year, CareerMD hosts the Boston Career Fair. The first annual fair took place in 2005 and attracted residents and fellows from top teaching hospitals such as Beth Israel Deaconess, Boston Medical Center, Brigham and Woman’s, Children’s Hospital, Harvard School of Public Health, Mass Eye and Ear, Mass General, Tufts – New England Medical Center, and more. Additionally, residents from other major teaching hospitals in Massachusetts and New England will be invited to attend. In 2008, the Boston Career Fair attracted more than 200 job-seeking residents and fellows.

Career Fair Promotion

CareerMD promotes the Boston Career Fair to all teaching hospitals that are within reasonable driving distance of the venue. Most residents and fellows who attend will be in training at a local programs, however this event is widely promoted. A list of all teaching hospitals in the Boston area can be found here.

CareerMD has hosted four highly attended Career Fairs in Boston:

  1. September 23, 2008: attended by 209 job-seeking residents and fellows
  2. October 23, 2007: attended by 305 job-seeking residents and fellows
  3. September 28, 2006: attended by 229 job-seeking residents and fellows
  4. December 7, 2005: attended by 91 job-seeking residents and fellows
